Warranty & Disclaimer

Every LumiScrubs garment is covered by the 365-Day Quality Guarantee against construction defects, plus the standard return window on blanks. This page summarizes the warranty terms and the limits of what we represent about our products.

1. The 365-Day Quality Guarantee

For 365 days from delivery, we replace any garment that fails because of:

  • Seam split caused by construction (not abrasion, not snag).
  • Severe pilling that goes beyond ordinary 30-cycle wear (test method: ISO 12945-2 grade 4 or above is our target; below grade 3 within 365 days is a defect).
  • Major fade beyond the published 1-grade tolerance after laundering per care label.
  • Hardware failure: zippers, buttons, drawstrings, snaps.

To claim, email support@lumiscrubs.com a photo of the issue and your order number. We confirm coverage within 12 hours Mon–Sat and ship a replacement within 2–5 business days. You do not need to ship the defective garment back.

2. What is not covered

  • Ordinary wear: minor pilling under grade 3, gradual color softening past 30 wash cycles, expected stretch and recovery cycle on spandex.
  • Damage from improper care (hot wash above the label limit, harsh bleach, ironing on high heat for spandex blends).
  • Stains, tears, and abrasions caused by use.
  • Embroidery customer-supplied artwork errors (typos, file resolution issues we flagged in proof).
  • Loss or theft after delivery.

3. Return window for blanks

Separate from the warranty, blank unworn items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. See Shipping & Returns.

4. Embroidered and personalized items

Once embroidery stitching begins, the item becomes final-sale and the standard 30-day blank return does not apply. The 365-Day Quality Guarantee still covers construction defects on embroidered items.

5. Fabric claims and what we do NOT represent

LumiScrubs garments are described as a 72% polyester / 21% rayon / 7% spandex blend with four-way stretch and a water-repellent finish. Those claims are verified.

We do not represent that our fabrics provide regulator-grade or barrier-grade protection. We do not make pathogen-control, surgical-environment, isolation-gown, or hazardous-substance-resistance claims for any product on this site. If your role requires a regulated barrier garment, look elsewhere.

6. Limitation

The 365-Day Quality Guarantee is the sole remedy under this warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no other express or implied warranty applies, and LumiScrubs and {{LEGAL_ENTITY}} are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
