Cookies Policy
A short summary of what cookies and similar identifiers LumiScrubs uses, why, and how to control them. We use only the cookies needed to operate the site and remember your basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a site. It lets the site remember things like that you are logged in or that you added an item to your cart. Similar identifiers include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags.
2. Cookies LumiScrubs sets
- Strictly necessary — keep your shopping cart populated, keep you logged in to your account, remember whether you accepted a notice, and prevent abuse. These cannot be turned off without breaking site functionality.
- Functional — remember your country, language, and currency preferences so you do not have to set them every visit. These can be cleared by clearing cookies in your browser.
- Performance and analytics — minimal first-party page-view counts via our hosting platform, used to detect site errors and broken pages. No third-party advertising trackers, no Facebook pixel, no Google Analytics retargeting cookies.
3. Third-party cookies
When you go through checkout, our payment processor {{PAYMENT_PROCESSOR}} may set cookies in their iframe to prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We do not set advertising or social-media cookies on any page.
4. Controlling cookies
You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the site (cart, checkout, login). Clearing cookies will sign you out and empty your cart.
5. Do Not Track
We honor browser-level Do Not Track signals where technically feasible. Because we do not run advertising trackers in the first place, DNT compliance is largely automatic for us.
